Budynek Dawnej Dyrekcji Huty 1-go Maja (The Building of the Former Directorate of the 1st of May Works) is a historic and monumental building of exceptional character, located in the heart of Gliwice. Its history dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when it was built as the Directorate Building of the Huldschinsky Works, and later transformed into the Directorate of the 1st of May Works. The building offers over 4,600 m2 of modern office and service space on four above-ground floors and one basement floor. It is located in the central part of Gliwice, at the intersection of ks. Hlubka and Piwna streets, providing direct access to the Road Średnicowa Route, which connects to highways A1 and A4. Proximity to the PKP railway station enables excellent communication with the Silesian metropolitan area and the rest of Poland. The building houses two exceptional rooms listed in the register of monuments: the director's office and the conference room. They have retained their original furnishings, including unique paintings, fireplaces and wooden wall and door panels, which will be carefully restored under the supervision of a monument conservator. Gliwice is currently recognized as one of the best developing cities in Poland, attracting numerous domestic and foreign investors.
