Lakeside complex will be built on the site of a demolished high-rise building

The LAKESIDE complex will replace the demolished University Business Center I office building. The building is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2023.

The University Business Center I office building, which was built in 1996-1997, is currently being demolished and will be replaced by the LAKESIDE office complex. The investor is Belgian company Atnor, which has operations in 10 European countries. Demolition work began in April 2021.

The LAKESIDE complex will provide about 24,000 sqm of leasable office space to the market. Located at 2 Storm Street, the building will be distinguished by its modern lightweight design, which resembles unevenly stacked boxes. The complex will offer its tenants charging stations for electric cars, infrastructure for cyclists, a canteen and a café. LAKESIDE has received BREEAM pre-certification with the highest rating of Outstanding. This distinction indicates that state-of-the-art solutions will be used in the construction of the facility, which will both improve the environmental performance of the building and have a positive impact on the comfort of its employees. The complex is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2023.
