Polish investor acquired office building in Warsaw

Mazovia Plaza, an office building with an area of 4,500 sqm, located in Warsaw's Praga North, changed ownership. The seller was the Martley Capital fund, which has just completed the transaction. The building is fully leased, and the new owner is a Polish investor. Praga North is a dynamically developing district that attracts growing interest from real estate sector investors.
The Mazovia Plaza building was originally built in the 1950s as a hotel, and in 2000 underwent a comprehensive renovation, transforming into a modern office building. The building offers space on eight floors. Jan Płociński, Head of Poland at Martley Capital, noted that effective building management allowed for stabilizing lease agreements and attracting renowned tenants, which positively affected the property's value.
The Martley Capital fund, managing assets worth approximately 900 million pounds, plans further expansion in the Polish market. In 2025, the company intends to invest in the industrial and logistics sector, as well as develop other strategies involving real estate, capital markets and investment funds. The transaction was represented by Avison Young, and the legal advisor on the seller's side was the DLP Duch / Lisicki & Partners law firm.
