Futureal Sold Two Office Buildings - Student Housing Will Be Built There

The former headquarters of Pekao in Warsaw has changed ownership. Two of four buildings of the Lipowy Office Park complex, previously owned by Futureal, will be transformed into student housing. Lipowy Office Park, built by Hochtief Development in 2009, consists of four category "A" office buildings, offering a total of 40,000 sqm of office rental space. The investment includes a two-level underground garage and surface parking.
Futureal, the former owner of the Lipowy Office Park office complex in Warsaw, announced the sale of part of the office space. The place where once stood the headquarters of one of Poland's largest banks - Pekao, will be transformed into student housing. A total of several hundred units are to be put into use. Futureal Group announced the purchase of the Lipowy Office Park complex on Warsaw's Ochota in October 2023. According to its strategy, the company planned to reposition the property in a more modern and sustainable direction, but ultimately the plans changed. Futureal announced entering into cooperation with 1 Asset Management, which committed to transforming the buildings into modern student housing. On approximately 21,000 sqm, over 650 units will be created for student rental.
