Upper One - construction of new skyscraper in Warsaw begins

Construction of a new skyscraper in the very center of Warsaw officially began. This prestigious investment, known as "Upper One" and conducted by real estate developer Strabag Real Estate, is located on a plot at Aleja Jana Pawła II, where the Atrium International office building previously stood. The demolition of the 1990s building took seven months.

Currently, the developer has begun work on the underground part of the complex, which consists of five floors. In the first phase of work, slurry walls with geothermal installation will be executed. This stage is to end in the fourth quarter of this year. The next step will be the construction of underground structures. "Upper One" is an office and hotel complex with an impressive tower 131.5 meters high. The total area of the investment will be 35,900 square meters, with most of it intended for modern offices and about 11,000 square meters for the hotel part, located in a 55-meter building. "Upper One" is to be distinguished by an unusual, light-carved facade with an asymmetric character, which will pulse with life thanks to the movement of five glass elevators.

According to the investment schedule, the skyscraper will be handed over for use in 2026. The architectural design is the work of the renowned Medusa Group studio, and the general contractor is Strabag.
