Handmade mosaic in Varso Tower lobby
The lobby of the newly constructed Varso Tower office building will be decorated with an original handmade ceramic mosaic. It will occupy two large walls of the room. The interesting way of developing the large walls in the open lobby of the Varso Tower skyscraper was created thanks to the involvement of artist Krystyna Kaszuba-Wacławek, who created the mosaic in the Warsaw skyscraper. It is she who is responsible for selecting the right materials, manufacturing the tiles and, consequently, for the final result of the project. Some 3,600 elements were used to create the mosaic, and the whole refers to the local tradition of this type of decoration. Varso Tower is part of a larger complex called Varso Place. The building is located on Chmielna Street in Warsaw and boasts an exceptional height of as much as 310 meters. Such a result makes Varso Tower the tallest building in the European Union. The building has many amenities for its tenants, including underground parking spaces for cars and bicycles. The skyscraper also offers an observation deck with a view of the capital. The building has been awarded BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Core & Shell certificates.
