Warsaw Unit with WELL Core certification

Warsaw Unit with WELL Core certification

The Warsaw UNIT skyscraper, located at Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw's Wola district, is a unique building in Poland that has earned the highest possible level of WELL Core certification - Platinum. But what exactly does this mean? WELL building certification is an international standard developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) to assess the quality of a building's indoor environment. The goal of this standard is to promote the health and well-being of occupants by implementing measures to improve air quality, lighting, acoustics, humidification, thermal comfort and other aspects of the working or living environment. Therefore, WELL Core certification at the highest level - Platinum - for the Warsaw UNIT Skyscraper at Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Wola, means that the building meets the most stringent requirements for the health and comfort of its users, ensuring optimal working conditions. Warsaw UNIT, located at the Daszyńskiego Roundabout, became the first and only building in Poland to receive the WELL Core certification under the WELL v2 pilot program, achieving an exceptionally high score: 99/100 points. In addition, the office building also boasts a WELL Health-Safety Rating certificate, focusing on ensuring the health safety and well-being of occupants. The Warsaw skyscraper has met more than 100 requirements aimed at ensuring optimal conditions for users. In the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region, only Romania has two Platinum-certified buildings. In contrast, three other countries in the region each have one building with such certification: Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

The metamorphosis of Warsaw's Marynarska Business Park office complex is entering its final phase. The complex is changing its name to Diuna. A 6,000-square-meter parking lot has been replaced by a new park open to the city. Diuna's patio was designed in accordance with the idea of biophilic design, which takes into account man's innate need to bond with nature and feel a sense of belonging to the natural world. The concrete patio was transformed into a park open to the city, filled with trees and native vegetation. To create a cohesive and welcoming environment, the terrain was raised and lowered, creating plant-covered hills. Narrow alleyways between the hills create intimate spaces where one can relax and take a break from everyday life. Parking for cars is located in a three-level underground garage, offering 1,300 spaces for tenants and guests of the complex. As part of the transformation, the building's four lobbies have also been renovated, with impressive artistic sculptures as a common feature. Modern work and meeting spaces are available to tenants. Diuna is home to such companies as Accord, NewCold, Colgate, Daikin Europe, Eurocash, Ford, JDE, Oceanic, S.C Johnson.
