Kids & Co., a bilingual kindergarten with a nursery department, opened its first facility in Katowice, located in the Silesia Star office building. This is already the fifth facility that Kids & Co. has opened in buildings belonging to Globalworth Poland.The new Kids & Co. facility in Katowice occupies 420 sqm and consists of four classrooms—two for the nursery and two for the kindergarten. The facility has a separate entrance and a recreational area dedicated to young children.In August, Kids & Co. also extended its lease in two other buildings belonging to Globalworth: the WTT building in Warsaw and the West Link in Wroclaw. The kindergarten in West Link occupies 630 sqm and will continue its operations for another seven years alongside its corporate partner—Nokia. The Kids & Co. network currently has nearly 30 facilities throughout Poland.The Silesia Star building is located in the heart of Katowice and was designed by the Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio. The complex consists of two eight-story buildings with a total rental area exceeding 29,000 sqm. Silesia Star boasts BREEAM certification at the Excellent level and WELL Health & Safety 2022 certification. The facility has been part of Globalworth's property portfolio since July 2019.

Upper One - construction of new skyscraper in Warsaw begins

Construction of a new skyscraper in the very center of Warsaw officially began. This prestigious investment, known as "Upper One" and conducted by real estate developer Strabag Real Estate, is located on a plot at Aleja Jana Pawła II, where the Atrium International office building previously stood. The demolition of the 1990s building took seven months. Currently, the developer has begun work on the underground part of the complex, which consists of five floors. In the first phase of work, slurry walls with geothermal installation will be executed. This stage is to end in the fourth quarter of this year. The next step will be the construction of underground structures. "Upper One" is an office and hotel complex with an impressive tower 131.5 meters high. The total area of the investment will be 35,900 square meters, with most of it intended for modern offices and about 11,000 square meters for the hotel part, located in a 55-meter building. "Upper One" is to be distinguished by an unusual, light-carved facade with an asymmetric character, which will pulse with life thanks to the movement of five glass elevators. According to the investment schedule, the skyscraper will be handed over for use in 2026. The architectural design is the work of the renowned Medusa Group studio, and the general contractor is Strabag.

At the 165-meter level of the Skyliner skyscraper in Warsaw's Wola district, a unique event and conference space called Look Up, covering almost 830 sqm, has appeared. This new venue enables the organization of various events, such as conferences, banquets, or photo sessions.The new event and conference space Look Up stands out for its elegant design and spacious interiors. It is characterized by a combination of modernity with an impressive view of the capital's panorama and offers professional catering services. The architectural design was created by the MIXD studio from Wroclaw. The event and conference space Look Up is located on the two top floors of the Skyliner skyscraper and belongs to Villi Foksal. It offers a conference-banquet hall for 100 people, with the possibility of flexible arrangement. This venue is located on the 41st floor of the building. On the next floor is a spacious open loft-like area with a height of over 14.5 meters and an area of 270 sqm. It can accommodate up to 200 people and is an excellent venue for organizing conferences, banquets, dinners, photo sessions, or product presentations. Look Up also has a fully equipped and professional kitchen.Architects from the Wroclaw MIXD studio emphasized neutrality and unusual combinations of materials when designing the interiors. In the space, you can see elements such as copper mirrors, wall sconces made from semi-transparent resin, curly birch veneer, concrete, routed MDF, and oxidized steel. Additionally, the space is equipped with modern technological solutions, such as multimedia screens, projectors, and professional sound systems. A characteristic element of Look Up is the wavy ribbon motif, which repeats itself in the suspended installation on the 42nd floor, on the floor covering, and at the bar counter.

Recently, tenants decided to extend their lease agreements and expand the space they occupy.North Gate is a modern class A office building with an impressive height of 87 meters. This building, consisting of 26 floors, offers a total of 35,600 square meters of usable space, of which 28,000 square meters are designated for offices. On the third floor there is the so-called Garden Lounge, which is a green space created on an internal terrace, available to all tenants. Additionally, office building tenants can use three underground floors, which offer 310 parking spaces.

Currently, CAT LC Polska is intensifying its activities in the Silesian agglomeration, which led to the decision to locate its headquarters in the modern Silesia Star office building in Katowice. The company rented 1,300 square meters of office space on the first floor of building A. Silesia Star is a complex consisting of two office buildings located at Roździeńskiego Avenue 10, centrally in Katowice. Currently, this facility is part of the property portfolio managed by Globalworth. The complex, designed by Kuryłowicz & Associates, offers a total of over 29,000 square meters of office space, as well as nearly 200 underground parking spaces and approximately 250 additional parking spaces at ground level.

The company, which is engaged in the recruitment of IT experts in the field of outsourcing, team leasing and headhunting, rented almost 400 square meters of space here. The company's main headquarters is in Warsaw, but for five years the company has been actively developing in the Tri-City area.In the new office, care was taken to ensure employee comfort and well-being. It was equipped with electrically adjustable desks, ottomans and quiet work areas.Officyna was realized in two stages, and the total rental space is 12.3 thousand square meters. The building offers convenient sanitary facilities with locker rooms, lockers and showers, as well as parking spaces for bicycles both in the garage hall and outside. The Officyna project was created by the APA Wojciechowski Tri-City studio, and both buildings received Platinum certification in the LEED system.

This achievement confirms the company's consistent pursuit of ambitious modernization plans in its portfolio of office buildings.These plans focus on two key areas: minimizing the impact of buildings on the natural environment and effective energy management. Adgar Renaissance Tower, located in the heart of Warsaw's Wola, is one of the most recognizable office buildings in this part of the city, fitting harmoniously into Warsaw's urban landscape since 2001.Over the past two decades, this building has undergone many modernizations, especially after being taken over by Adgar Poland, a developer and manager of numerous office buildings in Warsaw, which took place last year. The new owner focused on innovative solutions that promote environmental protection and reduce energy consumption. Over the past year, many improvements have been introduced, including optimization of the work schedule of devices using available infrastructure, adapted to tenant needs and changing weather conditions.Additionally, intelligent LED lighting systems have been installed in the common areas of the building, working with motion sensors, which significantly helped reduce electricity consumption. Work is also underway on modernizing the passenger elevators, which will also contribute to increasing the energy efficiency of the building. The opening of a new city square is the final stage of the .KTW project, which introduced 65,000 square meters of modern office space to the market of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis. The square will be open from Tuesday, September 12. The opening of the city square marks a symbolic end to over 8 years of implementation of the .KTW project in the heart of Katowice. Thanks to it, the city gains a new place to relax and have fun, located in the surroundings of the office towers of the complex belonging to TDJ Estate. The city square was designed by Medusa Group studio, and its central element is a city furniture in the form of a podium with stairs, serving as seating places. Green space occupies 1,100 m² and includes over 6,500 plants, including tall trees and shrubs exceeding 2 meters in height. Additionally, sandstone appeared in the square, which once formed monumental sculptures on the external area of the DOKP building. The .KTW office complex consists of two modern buildings with a total area of 65,000 m², which were handed over for use in two stages - in 2018 and 2022. Among the tenants are renowned companies such as PwC Service Delivery Center, Fujitsu Poland, EY, SD Worx, AMMEGA, LKQ Europe, Vaillant, PubNub and LUX MED. The total value of the project was approximately 0.5 billion zloty.
